The application of make-up is a skill that women are expected to possess, however they very rarely receive any formal training. Often relying on a process of learning through trial and error and being taught by our mums, sisters and friends; this often becomes an expensive learning curve as the cosmetics industry market their products on the basis of their brand – not their suitability to different skin types and tones.
To me, the secret of beautiful makeup isn’t a makeup bag filled with the most expensive items or using complicated application techniques – it’s about using the right products in the right places to bring out your natural beauty. Now I will pass on my 15+ years of experience and skills on to you with personalised makeup lessons so you will know how to choose colours that will complement your skin tone, make your face light up, look flawless and last all day.
My makeup lessons are based on one to one tuition with me personally, and are designed to find the right products and application techniques that are right for you and for the look you are trying to achieve, and so each lesson is as unique as you are.
My lessons are based on the “half face” technique, where I will demonstrate each stage step by step on one half of your face, and then guide you to apply the make-up to the other half of your face using the techniques that you have just learned. This “learning through doing” approach will give you the confidence that you will be able to repeat what you have learned once I have gone home.
Each make-up lesson takes place in the comfort of your home* or in my home. (* travel charges may apply).
