Makeup Lessons
The application of make-up is a skill that women are expected to possess, however they very rarely receive any formal training. We often rely on a process of learning through trial and error and being taught by our mum, sisters and friends - often an expensive learning curve as the cosmetics industry market products on the basis of their brand - not their suitability to different skin types and tones.
To me, the secret of beautiful makeup isn't a makeup bag filled with the most expensive items or using complicated application techniques - it's about using the right products in the right places to bring out your natural beauty.
My make-up lessons are designed to help to find the right products and show you the simple application techniques that are right for you as an individual and for the look you are trying to achieve.
Each make-up lesson is unique as it is tailored to the experience and aspirations of the individual client, from teens looking to discover the secrets behind the latest looks to women aged fifty plus wanting to try a new look.
Each make-up lesson takes place in my studio or in your home and lasts from 1 to 3 hours.

For brides who wish to learn how to apply their own makeup on their wedding day or brides getting married abroad a comprehensive makeup lesson is a great idea.
You will receive instruction on skincare, makeup prescription, a bridal makeup look just for you and step by step on how to apply your makeup. I will apply makeup to one side of the face and you will do the other side under my instruction. I will also give you a 'shopping list' of products to take away. We will also go through your existing makeup to see what can be used and what needs to be updated.
A Bridal Makeup Lesson takes approx 2 hours.

Make Up Lessons are a great idea if you are a complete novice or just stuck in a rut with your makeup and want to learn how to apply a new look for day or night.
Adult Makeup Lessons (16 +)
- Simple Make-Up Lesson - One look (day or evening) - 60 mins - £25.00
- Day & Evening Make-Up Lesson - Two looks day & evening - 2 hours - £50.00
- Special Make-Up Lesson - Eyebrow shape, skincare consultation, two looks (day and evening) and a bespoke make-up prescription - 2 ½ hours - £75.00
- Complete Make-up Lesson - Makeup bag makeover, eyebrow shape, skincare consultation, two looks (day and evening) and a bespoke make-up prescription - 4 hours - £100.00

Make-Up Bag Makeover
(Can only be booked in conjunction with your choice of make-up lesson) - £35
For those of you who have a big make-up bag and lots of old makeup, I’m also happy to share my experience and knowledge through a make-up bag makeover. Many women have products they never use, that are out of date, or that just don’t suit them. We can go through your make-up bag together, and then I can either give you a comprehensive makeup lesson or makeover to choose the right products specifically for you.
