The consultation also gives you both an opportunity to discuss potential timings for your wedding day, and allows you the chance to understand more about the service provided before committing to booking a trial.
All of Claire’s Bridal packages include a trial, which will typically last 2 hours for Hair or Makeup, or 3 hours if you have booked the complete package and will typically take place 4-6 weeks before the wedding.The purpose of the trial is to try different combinations and styles to ensure that you find the look you have always dreamed of for your wedding day.
At the trial, Claire will photograph your chosen look, both to let you understand how your guests will see you and to reassure you that it translates correctly when viewed through the camera lens
Before your wedding day, Claire will agree a timetable with you which will allow your morning to be as stress free as possible. Claire, and for larger weddings, her team, will be there right from the start and stay with until you are ready to leave. On the day, Claire will help you into your dress and assist the bridal party before carrying out final touch ups and fitting your veil, assuring you when you leave for the ceremony you look both flawless and radiant.

Wedding Photographers Pre Shoot

Surcharges
- An additional £5.00 plus travel charges will apply if bridal party trials are not carried out at the same time and location as the bride.
- If required, Claire is able to stay throughout your wedding should further styling be required – £20 p/h
- Bridal Make-Up on Bank Holiday Weekends including Christmas and Easter, please add 10% to your total invoice.
- Due to demand, during the peak wedding season (May to October) a minimum spend of £150 is required (This is reduced to £100 for weekday weddings).
- Due to demand, during the off peak season (November to April), a minimum spend of £100 is required.

Bridal Make-up Lesson – (2 ½ hours) £75
The Bridal Makeup Lesson is a full 2 hours of specialised bridal one on one tuition tailored to your individual requirements and delivered in the comfort of your own home.
This lesson is for brides who wish to learn how to apply their own makeup on their wedding day or brides getting married abroad. Typically the lesson is based on developing the skills and techniques required to create a natural, radiant wedding day look just for you, however if you have a particular focus in mind, such as darker eye makeup, Claire will adjust the lesson to suit your individual needs. Claire will also go through your existing makeup to see what can be used and what needs to be updated for your bridal look.
The bridal lessons are based on the “half face” technique, where she will demonstrate each stage step by step on one half of your face, and then guide you to apply the make-up to the other half of your face using the techniques that you have just learned. This “learning through doing” approach will give you the confidence that you will be able to repeat what you have learned once Claire has gone home. Alternatively if you would prefer, a friend can be taught how to apply your wedding day makeup on your behalf. You will receive instruction on skincare and a full makeup prescription (shopping list) of products to take away.

Tattoo & Blemish Camouflage
If you have a blemish or skin condition which makes you feel self-conscious, or you have a tattoo in a very visible place, you don’t need to let it dictate your choice of dress for your big day.
With Claire’s Remedial Camouflage training and amazing products there’s a safe way to improve the appearance of scarring, skin conditions or to cover a tattoo with little or no transference meaning you can choose the dress you want and be confident in your look.
Claire has successfully improved the visibility of scars, birthmarks, rosacea, acne, black eyes, bruising, scratches and tattoos.
